The Watercolour Landscape Classes can be held in a number of Plein Air locations.

Within 30 mins of Ponte de Lima we have mountains in one direction and the beach in the other.

We are surrounded by pretty villages, a National Park, stunning rivers and streams, ancient ruins, watermills, farms and vineyards.

Locations of classes will depend on the weather and also your preference of scenery.

I am based 5 mins from the town centre and famous Roman Bridge that gives Ponte de Lima it’s name.

    Getting There and Away:

     Direct Flights are available to Porto from the U.K. by TAP Air, Ryanair, British Airways and easyJet.

    Direct Flights are also available to Vigo from the U.K. by Iberia, Ryanair.

    Of course indirect flights are also available Porto is only a 1hr flight from Madrid for example.

     

    AIR : PORTO (OPORTO) AIRPORT (accesable from many U.K. airports)  in North Portugal is 40 mins away from Ponte de Lima.

    AIR : VIGO AIRPORT (accesable from many U.K. airports)  in Galicia, North West Spain is 1hr away from Ponte de Lima.

    AIRPORT TRANSFER: I am more than happy collect you at the airport in Porto and bring you directly to your acconmodation in Ponte de Lima, 40 mins.

    BUS: To Porto Airport 2hrs 10Euros, Viana de Castello 30 mins,  Lisbon 6hrs, Braga 30 mins, Valenca 25mins

    TRAIN: Nearest stations are Braga and Viana de Castello.

    Overland train from U.K. – Eurostar to Paris , morning train from Paris to southern France , Evening overnight sleeper train to North Portugal, early change train to Viana de Castello, lift to Ponte de Lima or bus/taxi.  total uk – ponte lima including overnight stay 48hrs. +/- £200. Details on request.

    CAR HIRE  For example : Off Season from £7/day.
